Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger joined U.S. EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson at the Port of Long Beach Oct. 1 to announce that over $26.5 million in clean-air grants have been awarded to Southern California as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to date. Foss received a portion of that funding for replacing the engines in the Caribe Alliance and Caribe Horizon. The governor is shown here with the Foss Green Assist™ Hybrid Tug in the background.
